MECCA - THE MARKETING CLUB OF GIM
MECCA - The Marketing Club of GIM is responsible for disseminating marketing concepts through competitive events and facilitating interactions with prominent individuals in the marketing sector. MECCA's activities also include interactions with individuals from the Marketing Field and discussions on evolving marketing trends. MECCA's most significant endeavor to date is the organization of the Annual Corporate Quiz of GIM "GIM WIZBIZ."
Sale-Away, an on-field marketing event that MECCA has been conducting for the last six years. This event was conducted in the first week of January. The event provided the participants with first-hand market experience and exposure as it involved going to the market on a beach and selling various products to the general public. The winning team won the title of ‘Super Salesman’ along with prize money
In conjunction with Marketing Weekly and Crazy about Branding, Marketing Connect was a week-long event to connect and showcase marketing skills. Marketing Connect brought two exciting and informative workshops Marketing 101 by Marketing Weekly and The Crazy Talk by Crazy About Branding. It was then followed by a competition wherein participants had to create their innovative ad campaign using unconventional product not associated with the brand.
